Carol Boisa, a 74-year-old woman from Sacramento County, was identified as the third person confirmed dead after the Volare, a cabin cruiser carrying 20 people, capsized on July 14, the San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed in an email to SFGATE. Boisa’s body was located Saturday morning west of the Golden Gate Bridge near Point Diablo, according to a statement from the San Francisco Police Department.
The body of Tondra Miller, 58, was recovered from the bay on June 16, SFGATE previously reported. Another passenger, Clifford Joseph Boisa, 79, the brother of the boat’s owner, was rescued from the water but died from his injuries. Jackie Boisa, Clifford’s wife, is believed to be the final missing person, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
The group of people on the boat consisted mostly of family members who had sailed July 14 from the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco for a memorial service. At 3:30 p.m., the San Francisco Fire Department received a call for a vessel in distress amid choppy waves. By the time they arrived, the boat was already well on its way to sinking.

The 49-foot, three-deck vessel was found almost fully under water with a running motor and leaking fuel, San Francisco Fire Department Chief Dean Crispen previously said. Sixteen people were rescued from the water and survived. A dog onboard the boat also died in the capsizing.
