Girl, 10, reported missing in Oakland on Sunday night

The California Highway Patrol issued an endangered missing advisory for a 10-year-old Oakland girl last seen on Sunday night.

Winter Tolliver was last seen at A Street and 94th Avenue in Oakland around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, CHP said. The agency activated the advisory on behalf of the Oakland Police Department for Alameda and Contra Costa counties and said Tolliver is believed to be on foot. The advisory describes Tolliver as 4-foot-11 and 80 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top with blue flowers and purple pants. CHP asked anyone who spots Tolliver to call 911 immediately.

OPD released its own advisory Monday, adding that Tolliver was last seen in the 1300 block of 94th Avenue, wearing a cheetah print bonnet in addition to the white tank top and purple pants. The department said Tolliver’s family reported she is “familiar with BART” and has relatives in the East Bay. OPD asked anyone with information on Tolliver’s whereabouts to contact its Missing Persons Unit at 510-238-3641
