Behind them is Democrat Tom Steyer, the billionaire former hedge fund manager turned climate activist who self-funded one of the most expensive campaigns in California history. Republican Chad Bianco, the Riverside County sheriff, is the only other candidate currently leading in some counties.\u00a0<\/p><\/div><div><\/div><div><p>The results will continue to shift as more ballots come in.
