A\u00a0Walmart store in Suisun City is closed indefinitely after sustaining major water and smoke damage in an act of arson, officials said.\u00a0<\/p>

The fire happened at the store at 350 Walters Road on Wednesday just after 10:30 p.m., the\u00a0Suisun City Fire Department said in a Facebook post. Customers in the store were evacuated after firefighters responded to the blaze.<\/p><\/div>

When they arrived, the fire crews saw smoke, an active fire and activated sprinklers inside the store. The smoke and water inside the store caused \u201csignificant\u201d damage to the merchandise, the fire department said.\u00a0<\/p><\/div>

Walmart spokesperson Kelly\u00a0Hellbusch said there were no injuries.<\/p><\/div>

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire, but they\u2019ve determined it was an act of arson, the department said. Anyone with information about the fire is urged to call the fire department at 707-421-7205.<\/p><\/div>
