Firefighters from Cal Fire’s San Mateo-Santa Cruz Unit were called to Bonny Doon Beach. The beach, which is near Davenport, is known for its high cliffs overlooking the ocean. Although it has designated parking off Highway 1, visitors are supposed to leave by sunset.

Around 1:30am, a man in his early 20’s fell halfway down a cliff at Bonny Doon Beach and landed mid-cliff.
