3 detained after shots fired near Calif. high school football game

Three people are detained following reports of shots fired at the Manteca High School campus Friday night, according to police.

The Manteca Police Department said the shooting happened near the winter gym area around 9:27 p.m.

No one was injured in the shooting.

Six officers were at the school Friday night for Manteca’s football game against Cesar Chavez High School.

Police are urging the public to avoid the area, as the investigation is ongoing.
